Bengaluru Metro Pillar Collapse: A woman and her child were killed on Tuesday morning when an under-construction metro pole collapsed near Nagawara on the Outer Ring Road in Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru. At the same time, the woman’s husband and another son were injured in the accident. Expressing grief, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has announced a compensation of ten lakh rupees to the victim’s family after the accident. At the same time, orders have also been given to investigate the matter.

The Bengaluru police told about the accident that at around 11 am, the under-construction pillar of the Metro fell and a bike carrying four people came under its grip. The woman and her son were seriously injured in the accident. Both were taken to the hospital, where they died.
