After finding this vulture, the Forest Department team caught it and handed it over to the Kanpur Zoo Administration. Currently kept in the cage next to his companion.

Earlier, a rare Himalayan griffon vulture was rescued near the Benajhabar Idgah cemetery in Kanpur, UP. After being rescued, he was sent to Allen Forest Zoo’s veterinary hospital for a 15-day quarantine. Actually some people saw it in Benajhabar Idgah cemetery, this vulture was not able to fly. After which he immediately informed the Forest Department about this.
