Wrestlers Protest: 7-member committee constituted to investigate allegations against Brijbhushan Singh, Mary Kom-Yogeshwar Dutt also included

Wrestlers Protest: The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has constituted a 7-member committee to probe the allegations of sexual harassment against WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The committee consists of Mary Kom, Dola Banerjee, Alaknanda Ashok, Yogeshwar Dutt, Sahdev Yadav and 2 advocates.

On January 18, Wrestler Vinesh Phogat accused Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Singh of sexual harassment. It was even said that many wrestlers were sexually assaulted by Brij Bhushan in the women’s camp. Since those allegations, the protest of wrestlers is going on at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.

A clarification has also been presented on behalf of Brij Bhushan Singh on the controversy. On one hand, he has flatly refused to resign, while on the other hand he has even said that if he opens his mouth, a tsunami will come.
