Along with DOTA2 and Rocket League, the eFootball series by Konami will also be part of the 2022 Commonwealth Esports Championship. All three esports events will be held in an open category and event only in a women’s category.

Although the Commonwealth Esports Championship, to be held from 1 to 7 August, will be held on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Games 2022, the esports event will have different medals and branding.
