Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo may return to Juventus: Reports

According to reports, Ronaldo’s manager Jorge Mendis has already made a move and has offered the 37-year-old striker’s service to Juventus.

A report in AS.com suggests that Ronaldo’s manager has offered the footballer to the Italian giants. It is learned that Juventus have not completely ruled out having a star footballer for their side, although there is some doubt as to whether they will be able to work out a deal.

United have not won a Premier League title since 2013 and last won a trophy in 2017. He finished the final season in sixth place by sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and replacing him with interim boss Ralph Rangnik.

The club’s new manager, Erik ten Haag, has been tasked with a difficult rebuild in his first summer at Old Trafford and will need to work on replacing some of the star names who will leave when their contracts expire on 30 June.

According to a report in AS.com, Ronaldo is reportedly ‘concerned’ about United’s current approach to the transfer window.

Along with Ronaldo, Pogba, who was bought by the club for a record $89 million ($112 million), may return to his former club Juventus.

Manchester United have already released some star players like Edinson Cavani, Lee Grant, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba when their contracts expire at the end of this month.

The 37-year-old has had a forgettable season for Manchester United in the back of the net 24 times as they failed to qualify for the Champions League, resulting in Ronaldo’s future at Old Trafford in doubt.

Ronaldo made 134 appearances for Juventus, scoring 101 goals and winning two league titles as well as two Coppa Italia.
