Militant Arrest in Jammu and Kashmir: The Baramulla Police of Jammu and Kashmir has got a big success. Police has arrested two new militants recruited from Pattan. It is being told that he was entrusted with the task of carrying out the murder of members of the Kshetra Panchayat and the minority community. Both these terrorists arrested by the police are local residents and they are related to Lashkar-e-Taiba.

According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, on May 9 this year, the family of a youth identified as Irshad Mir of Nehalpora Pattan had declared him missing. During investigation, it emerged that he had joined the terrorist ranks through a module of Lashkar-e-Taiba operating in the area. In the same sequence, another youth named Zahid Bashir also went missing from his house on 20 May. In the investigation of the case, it has been found that the youth had joined the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. According to the police, investigation further revealed that both the terrorists were asked to work in Pattan area to target panchayat members and people from minority community.

United teams caught the terrorists by planning

On June 10, the security forces had received specific information about the activities of these two terrorists in Ghat Palhalan area. The joint teams of Baramulla Police and 29 RR made a plan and caught them in the evening. The arrested terrorists have been identified as Irshad Ahmed Mir, 23 years old, and the other person, 18 years Zahid Bashir, both residents of Nehalpora Pattan.

Let us inform that the security forces have recovered two Chinese pistols, apart from this 18 live cartridges and three magazines have been recovered from them. At present, the police has started proceedings by registering an FIR against both of them. The case has been registered in ULA (P) Act PS Pattan.
