There is a French online music streaming service called Deezer. Users can access podcasts and music from record labels on a variety of devices, online and offline.
Paris-based company Deezer was founded in 2008 and, as of January 2019, had 90 million licensed recordings, over 30,000 radio channels, 100 million playlists, 16 million monthly active users and 7 million premium members in its collection. Web, Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, Blackberry OS, Windows and macOS are all supported by the service.
On April 23, 2006, Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon founded Spotify, a privately held Swedish supplier of media services, including streaming audio. As of June 2022, it had over 433 million monthly active users, including 188 million paid members, making it one of the largest music streaming service providers. Spotify is traded on the New York Stock Exchange as American Depository Receipts.
Is Deezer better than Spotify?
Spotify offers a reasonably priced Premium Duo option with subsidized Hulu and SHOWTIME subscriptions. However, Deezer offers more features, such as CD-quality music and access to thousands of radio stations. Additionally, it can be unpleasant to know that Spotify prices vary widely depending on where you live. For example, due to the price hike, users living in the UK will pay slightly more for Spotify’s Family, Student, and Premium Duo plans than those living in the US. Spotify is better for many and Deezer is best for many. So it all depends on the usage and features of the app and the preferences of the individuals.

Most of Europe, the Americas, and Oceania are among the 184 markets where Spotify is accessible. Most devices, including PCs running Windows, macOS and Linux, mobile phones and tablets running iOS and Android, smart home devices such as the Amazon Echo and Google Nest product lines, and streaming video players such as Roku, all support the service.
HiFi Tier In Deezer and Spotify
Deezer’s HiFi function and Spotify’s lack of it are the most noticeable differences. While Spotify’s highest overall audio quality level is limited at 320 kbps, Deezer delivers CD-quality music at a bitrate of 1411 kbps. But all this may soon change. Spotify has made some announcements at its 2021 Stream On event on the launch of a new HiFi plan for the rest of the year. Since the first announcement, there hasn’t been any new development, although sightings of the new feature on Twitter and Reddit suggest that Spotify HiFi is still well on its way to launch.
Deezer and Spotify Premium Plans
While Spotify and Deezer have many similarities, there are also important differences to consider when comparing the two services;

2. Full Access to Everything
3. On-demand playback without ads
4. Audio quality of 320 kbps or higher
5. Option to import local files
6. Offline Listening and Downloading
7. Family plans include the opportunity to create a child profile.
8. Multi-Device Support
9. Free 9.30-Day Trial
Daniel Marhely created the original Deezer in Paris in 2006 under Blogmusic. He planned to use streaming technologies to provide unrestricted access to music fans. French agency SACEM accused the website of copyright infringement in its previous iteration, which was removed in April 2007. The website follows an arrangement with SACEM to pay copyright holders through revenue from advertisements and enables users to download streamed songs from iTunes to Deezer. Deezer relaunched in August 2007 as Deezer, earning a commission from each purchase.
